Co-Curricular

At Godolphin, we believe that education is not just about academic success - it’s about inspiring young people to discover their passions, develop their character, and create their own story. Our Co-Curricular Programme is central to this mission, offering every pupil the opportunity to explore their interests, embrace challenges, and grow into confident, well-rounded individuals ready to make their mark on the world.

A Core Part of the Godolphin Experience

Co-Curricular activities are not an “extra” at Godolphin—they are a vital part of our ethos and daily life. Rooted in our values of ambition, authenticity, courage, and kindness:  Through ambition, they strive for excellence. Through authenticity, they stay true to themselves. Through courage, they embrace challenges. And through kindness, they build connections that inspire and endure. The programme encourages pupils to push their boundaries, support one another, and develop the skills that will shape their futures.

Every day, time is set aside for co-curricular pursuits, with afternoons and evenings dedicated to activities that inspire creativity, collaboration and leadership. From First Year to Upper Sixth, pupils progress from structured opportunities to a more personalised experience, enabling them to follow their passions while gaining the confidence to try something new.  Bespoke programmes have been set up for Godolphin Sixth, through the Future Skills Programme.

Creating Your Own Story

Our Co-Curricular Programme empowers pupils to take ownership of their journey, discovering what drives them and who they aspire to be. By participating in activities like drama, music, sport, service, and leadership initiatives, pupils cultivate a sense of purpose and pride in their achievements.

Signature opportunities include:

The Combined Cadet Force (CCF): Encouraging courage, resilience and teamwork through exciting challenges.

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE): Supporting pupils as they explore the outdoors, push their limits, and earn recognition for their accomplishments.

Ten Tors Challenge: Testing endurance, collaboration, and determination on one of the UK’s most demanding expeditions.

Beyond these highlights, pupils can engage in activities such as Leiths Academy, Model United Nations, Debating, Lego League, Coding, MedVet Society, REACT MMA, Ceramics, Green Group, Mindfulness & Wellbeing, Volleyball, Judo, Tutti Flutti, Science Club, H4H Enterprise, Seminar Society, History Film Club, Portal Theatre, Classical Guitar Group, Painting & Drawing, Choir & Orchestra

As Godolphin embraces co-education, the programme fosters an inclusive environment where boys and girls work together in shared pursuits. Whether on the sports field, in the rehearsal room, or through leadership roles, pupils learn the value of teamwork, mutual respect, and kindness - qualities that will serve them well in every aspect of life.
