History

We love sharing our passion for History with the pupils we teach. As teachers, our specialisms and areas of interest differ, but we work together to deliver a curriculum that inspires interest and enthusiasm for the past, as well as the development key historical concepts and skills.

We welcome lively discussion and debate, encouraging pupils to be independent learners and to write the cogent and coherent answers required at GCSE level. Our GCSE results are outstanding. Beyond the classroom we organise trips to historic sites around England, the Chalke History Festival, the First World War Battlefields and Berlin.
