Prep Year 6 enjoy an exciting trip to France
Year 6 was lucky enough to go to France and visit various places. We went to an interactive museum “The Calvados Experience” where they explained the importance of apples in Normandy. We were shown how to make Calvados, Cider and Apple juice. We tasted the apple juice, it was delicious! We went to Falaise and Bayeux. In Falaise, we had a tour of the castle where William the Conqueror was born. In Bayeux, we went to do some serious shopping at the market, we then went to look at the Bayeux Tapestry which Miss Walker had taught us about before going. Our favourite trips were the visit to the caramel factory and Mont St Michel which were both interesting and so much fun.
