Duke of Edinburgh
At Godolphin, many students take part in the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme. There are four main sections of a DofE programme; Volunteering, Physical, Skills, and Expedition.
DofE Volunteering is about choosing to give time to help people, the community or society, the environment or animals. It can be undertaken for a charity or not-for-profit organisation. Students choose to give time to do something useful, without getting paid, and demonstrate commitment by carrying out the service every week over a three-, six-, or twelve-month period.
