Godolphin has a bespoke Admissions process which every candidate will be invited to complete prior to entry.
Godolphin Sixth entry is based on an interview and written papers, usually in each of a candidate’s proposed subjects. We also ask their existing Head for a reference and, if taking (I)GCSE examinations, each candidate will be expected to gain a minimum of five subjects at grade B/5 or above with a minimum of A/7 grades in those subjects the candidate wishes to study in Godolphin Sixth.
Our 16+ curriculum is tailored around the needs and interests of each pupil. At Godolphin we don’t use option blocking when pupils are selecting their A-levels, but instead devise a new timetable each year to reflect the year group’s choices. This means that most pupils can study whatever combination of subjects they choose.
